Stuart Reid, who won the Testing Excellence Award at EuroSTAR 2001, was the Programme Chair, EuroSTAR 2007.
Reid has a PhD in Software Testing and is a Senior Lecturer at Cranfield University, having previously worked on high-integrity systems such as avionics, radar and command and control systems. He is Chair of the BCS Specialist Group in Software Testing (SIGiST) and its Standards Working Party, which was responsible for the BS 7925-1 and BS 7925-2 standards.
Reid is a regular presenter at International testing conferences and events, he represents software testing on the BSI Software and Systems Engineering Committee. Stuart was previously Chair of the ISEB Software Testing Board and founded the International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ITSQB).
