Motoei Azuma is a Professor at Department of Industrial and Management Systems Engineering, School of Science and Engineering, Waseda University. He is a member of IEEE, ACM, IPSJ (Information Processing Society of Japan), etc. He is a Golden Core Member of IEEE Computer Society.
His research field includes software engineering such as software quality management, software metrics, requirement analysis, software process improvement and software engineering tools. He has contributed actively for the international standard on software products quality evaluation and measurement as the convener of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7/WG6 (Software Evaluation and Metrics), and the chief project editor of ISO/IEC 9126 (Software product quality) series and ISO/IEC 14598 (Software product evaluation) series.
