Learn from Japan’s quality practices
SOFTEC Asia 2013 will see increased number of speakers from Japan, a nation which is well-known for ingrained quality culture. At least five software quality experts and seasoned practitioners are expected to presents at the four-day conference, to be held from 2nd to 4th September.
They include Japan’s software quality Guru Professor Motoei Azuma of Waseda University. Professor Azuma is the convener of ISO/IEC JTC1/SC7/WG6 and prime project editor of SQuaRE (Systems and Software Quality Requirement and Evaluation) series of standards. He is expected to be joined by Professor Ken Sakamura of University of Tokyo, the creator of real-time operating system architecture TRON. There will also be speakers from Japan leading companies such as Sony, Denso and Hitachi who will share their experiences in software quality initiatives in their organisations.
Other speakers who will be participating in SOFTEC Asia 2013 include Netherland’s Erik van Veenendaal and Germany’s Professor Ina Schieferdecker, Werner Leblang and Chris Rupp and. While from the US, speakers Lee Copeland, Jon Hagar, Mark Kiemele and Gary Gack have also confirmed their participation.
